With the heat at 38.9 i decided enough was enough . These needed another trim , needle pluck and basic wire , 6 hours of sun baking under the shade sails and their back on the benches for anther season . I will rewire these at a later date .

Re: Cedrus deodara trainers x3
This had a trim and needle plucked this morning , or is that a partial leaf defoliation and trim

 , removed some foliage
, it will be wired over the next few weeks when the "powers to be" finish hacking and chopping me , will certainly have plenty of spare time coming up .These 2 were worked over
earlier in the week , I missed a foliage reduction exercise on the informal upright but that too will be done when the wire is applied .
Nice to see them back in Blue .

I quite like that cascade Alpine Some wiring to separate the pads and compress the apex etc should improve this greatly . I finally got around to cutting back hard my large formal upright a few weeks ago. Next stage is a day of wiring if I ever get that motivated .....

Re: Cedrus deodara trainers x3
Hi Matthew , mate i compressed and rotated the apex this morning just brute force and it looked the goods . Its in need of a re-pot hence the reason its lagging behind it sister tree .
Now I have seen that big tree of yours , if you can wire it in a day you had better come over here and wire a few of mine
. I hack and chop pretty quickly but wiring well I do it very slowly hence time runs out for most tree's . But there's always tomorrow , next week, next year , who's in a hurry as long as there green and growing
Cheers . Alpine
