Pinus Nigra - Austrian Black pines

Post by alpineart »

These are some of the material collected over the last decade

P1120393.JPG
P1120392.JPG
definitely needed some hard trimming , probable in need of a re-pot as well .

These took 5 hours to clean up and that's only about 20 % of the pines here .

Hi Boom64 , mate collecting is natural , we're all hunter - gatherers . With over 1000 plants here I have only purchased 1 bonsai and 20 odd starter stock , the rest is collected or grown .

Hi no idea , mate I always have time issues , not enough hours in a day or days in a week . Getting older and slowing down doesn't help but still making progress in the right direction .

Cheers guys . Alpine
