I get about 70% which is not bad considering I am not that fussed as I do this coz I can type thing.
Most of what I have I do not need. So I select the best and give away the rest. At club raffles.
So what I have left is minimal. The best one so far is this one. That was the top of this tree. It is the largest one in the right hand pot.

It has a long way to go but the leaves are reducing naturally and ramification is in early stages. Pup

Seconded. If I even get 70% success from the amount I will have collected by the end of this season my wife's sure to crack it! I'm running out of room as it is.

G,day, Mick Honey is all, in a cloche or as you can see enclosed. The mix is 1 part of sharp sand 1mm size crushed granite or gravel to 1 part coco peat ( choir bricks from Bunnings). I have been successful up to 15 mms. I have had success also with smaller cuttings not using any striking medium.

I would air layer I think my 15mms was luck, although I have another on the go at the moment so lets see!!.

When it comes to big cuttings I think you should just have a go, what have you got to lose, its all experimental, theres still people around that think i'm crazy when I tell them I've struck a 350mm Olive cutting, I tried a 150mm Hawthorn last year that didn't take but that hasn't convinced me that its not possible, half a dozen more go's might though but thats what it takes to finally know for sure.

Honey is a hormone, and anti fungal. It also wont come off in the soil like power will.

I have tried it on all my cuttings, it is an anti bacterial more than a rooting hormone. Which would make it possible to get roots on just about anything.
I make that statement with reservations as I have not tried it on many varieties.
I have also heard from friends that they have great success with Willow water. This I have not tried. I do believe that many plants will strike without any form of compound. I just use these to try to get better results. The experiment I tried with Casuarina, water and a pond basket resulted in 1% so that was a disappointment. So back to the drawing board.
