Bonza Bud

Post by Jester »

Hi guys, has anyone used this product before? If I'm not mistaken, you apparently use this as a substitute for all other fertilisers. (I'm assuming it is very potent) Has anyone got any good reason "not" to use it?

hey mate. i dont think this is a substitute for all ferts. what i have found is that it is a growth regulator commonly used for the propagation of marijuana.. :P
what i think it does is help with bud stimulation and growth causing flowering species to flourish. (or weed to grow big long nuggets :P   )

so i would use it as an all in one fert. it might be alright for flowering species. but for the price of it i think your better of getting a fert that is designed for flowering species such as the miracle gro range has something that works for that.

i use miracle gro, seasol and slow release pellets and i seem to have no worries :)

hope this helps

Gday
The fella from Bonsai South uses it to get lotsa small leaves on his ficus.
He plucks all the leaves off and then uses the bonza bud to get a lot of budding leaves quickly so you get short nodes and more leaves.
Or at least thats what he said. He is a very happy fella though!

i can see how this would work in that way to. that being said i would think best to use it on a tree that has "finished" its styling and just needs refinement. to have small leaves and short internodes i assume would slow down growth and would not help in a stock tree or something of the sorts.
