Hi All,
I have searched ausbonsai and cannot find an example of a Bay Laurel, as in where we get bay leaves for cooking. Was at a nursery recently and came across this:
Laurus Nobilis - Bay Laurel
Cost $15
After a quick trim and repotted in a grow pot I am left with this.
As can be seen the trunk is straight and unimaginative and will probably chop a lot lower. Have no idea of front yet. I will let it grow and see where it shoots???
Has anyone attempted one of these?

Re: Laurus Nobilis - Bay Laurel
I find them really slow growing where I am. But I have seen them espalier (made into a fence) in Italy and they looked very amenable to training.
