trident 2

Post by Jamie »

ok guys, heres the other trident i got of jow, its a great little twin trunk i reckon. there is several scars on this side that will make great little uro!
this is just one of my ideas, i will post the other sides aswell so you virtual wizards can get into it if you feel the need :D
as before the black represents the hollows of the uro.

any advice, comments, feedback and design ideas are always welcomed :)

as with trident 1 lack of replies has spured me to take a few more pics.

hope this spurs more replies :D

included in these shots is a top view showing the layout. the twin trunk to back shot shows the lean of the main trunk.

This is my preferred one of the two trees. Has great character (though they both do). What are you going to do with that little second trunk that kicks out to the side?

Good start Jamie. Needs a little work on the branches but that is just time. I have to say i am not sure about the twin trunk idea as the tree stands quite well alone. As you have virted it, it is more Mother and child to me, and that could probably work anyway

thats the name of the style i was looking for, mother and child. i think you are right with the main trunk being able to stand alone. and it would be quite simple to seperate them. but i would like to keep it that way. thats just me, i think it works well :)

thanks for the feedback

i like the small trunk aswell. I think it gives the tree a bit more of a 'dramatic' feel

sorry japh i didnt see your post when i replied to bodhi.

my plans for the second trunk is to use one of the two new leaders ( there is a bud that has popped a bit further down) and bring it more upright, far enough away from the main trunk to look right. im still unsure as to what side i am going to use as a "front" whether the smaller one is on the left or the right. both have good options.
what do you think? thats why i have posted them to hear other peoples opinions, and advice is always appreciated and taken into consideration :D
