Very nice. Is that a chaenomeles japonica? Is it early for flowers? i have a few one has flower buds, a couple have none and one is still in full leaf?

:wave: Mr Treeman,
Love the coral pink colouring.
Do you have a personal preference to use coloured glazed pots for these species whilst flowering? (I know unglazed can be equally attractive with that dark bark colour)

@ Kirky, They vary in flowering times but they should all be in bud by now. This is japonica crossed with chojubai. I call it jq#1. (jq#2 is in bud now...I will post)
@ shagga, yep flowering right now
@ Keep calm, Yes I like unglazed pots for all kinds of prunus and quince as well. The pots change every time I repot..
