G'day everyone
I thought I'd start a progression with these trees I received from Neil at Shibui bonsai. One is a Japanese maple and the other a trident. This will be my first go at training maples and Neil has given me plenty of good advice to get me started so here goes. Any comments questions or advice welcome
Chris

Both look good, but I particularly like the base of the trident. Good luck with them and keep us posted.

I agree with watto, definitely like the look of that trident early on, lots of petential.
Slow and steady wins the race
