Guys,
Just noticed that one of my Junipers, which by the way is doomed anyways since it only has three branches all at the same point, has a crack in the trunk and something green inside. Not sure how it got cracked as I have not done anything to it in a while but wondering if there is any kind of pest/bug that can do that? It looks green like a word sort of but havn't touched it yet.
Is that a bug in my juniper?

Re: Is that a bug in my juniper?
its not a bug. its one of the growth layers - phloem/cambium layer (the living part of the wood) breaking through the bark as the tree grows.
i believe its nothing to worry about. someone correct me if i'm wrong

Agree with Robc,
Maybe just the results of an old wiring scar / wound?
Have you ever had wire in that location previously?
