I have a preference for bonsai on the larger size and I also have a soft spot for a few bonsai of the smaller size.
This bonsai came about in a simple fashion. The pot had a Chinese elm root cutting in it that I was trying to grow, and that failed. A bit of slackness meant that the pot just sat on the bench. Some months later I was trimming a juniper and decided that I would stick a cut off bit into this pot. No special attention was given to it. That was a couple of years ago now and this is the result.
