Yep. They are full size. The Boug is not much different in size comparing to when it was in the wheelbarrow in the first few pics I took at the begging.dan.e wrote:looking great ,are they full size besser blocks or quick blocks just for scale either way its big

Re: My biggest dig ever - Monster Boug.
Thanks Mel
I forgot to mention that this one is a "winter" boug meaning it only flowers once a year. I many times was thinking of grafting other types of bougs on it but now decided to keep the way it is. After all, it's not just flower display that matters for bonsai.
Cheers

Love your boug mate! It's beautiful and what a great job you've done there so far.

great video kvan and man that thing looks heavy, I love the ingenuity with harness and metal pipe.
Have you tried to strike the broken branch so that you can graft it back on later?

Re: My biggest dig ever - Monster Boug.
Thanks buddy for mentioning it. You got my mind. I did put it in the propagating sand. Hope it works. Didn’t have someone to help holding the phone to film otherwise you would see how bad my face was when I broke that lol.
