Talk to Leigh Taafe. He recently got in a few large olives that are showing signs of growth.
Young and hostile but not stupid.

Maybe Ray nesci. I do not know what he has at the moment but always worth a try

Make a trip there on the weekend of Sat/Sun October 24/25 and see the School of Bonsai Annual show http://www.schoolofbonsai.com/

You want a good olive in the Sydney area... if Skippy says he has good olives he will. The other good option is to send a pm to Hardknocks Bonsai. These blokes live in the Camden area and scour the pastures for good stock. Penny and Dave54 are in Newcastle if you fancy a drive. I reckon you will do well with Hardknocks locally. From my experience I have never found a decent olive in a local bonsai nursery and the only half decent one was priced at about three times its worth.

Ah yes, Kingston Wang at Bonsai Environment had a selection of LARGE olive bases. Some were two to three man lift olives. That could be worth a gallop out Vineyard way if you are a masochist and looking for future back trouble.

Are we talking about african or european because if its a big african olive you want theres millions down near bankstown and camden to hoxton park. i was driving to see my frend yesterday they are clearing way for widening the main road and theres heaps of olives WHAT A WASTE

If u cant afford to buy one email the council in the camden or liverpool area because african olives are classified a noxious weed so they would probably let u dig them up i got the OK to dig up noxious weeds in the liverpool area from asking

if u do dig me up one or ill help u dig :D i would mind a big olive

hope this helps
