Hi Ken,
Love this post, the Hibiscus looks amazing. I recently picked up a very talk Hibiscus of some variety with a trunk that is around an inch in thickness. Its about 1.5m tall at the moment but want to air layer and chop the base to begin a bonsai journey. Do you have any tips on season timings for repot and root prune, chopping and working on a Hibiscus?

In flower again now
One opened yesterday and has almost finished already so have brought it inside for a few day to see if they can be extended.
