that looks like quite a old trunk. A garden rescue ? the blue pot sets the red off well. Love these I have a pruned one in the garden fruiting atm. Never gotten around to trying one for bonsai. I do have a guava currently in a training pot coming along

Very nice bodhidharma. It shows how a couple of well placed fruit can give the impression of a tree full of fruit, and I particularly like the trunk. It captures the way old pomegranates really grow and age.

This was the nicest trunk so i sold the rest off.
