Juniper tree half dead

Hi, I have uploaded a picture of my 10 year old Juniper tree which from all the information I can gather from this forum appears to be a dying a slow death. The lower part of the tree however seems to be growing quite well and I was wondering if it can be saved. Can anyone help me with this?

Looking at the pictures, there are two (2 ) plants one is dying the other is healthy. If you look at the wood on the brown plant you will see it is dehydrated.

Usually when this happens by the time you see it is already dead, sorry. So I would take out the dead one and try to keep the other one going. Where do you keep these plants? Indoors or outside.

agree with that one pup, sorry to say the left hand side tree is dead. the right hand side is fine. as pup advised take the deadside out. you might even be able to strip the bark and use it for some interesting deadwood to ad appeal to the one you got via a phoenix graft.
as pup also stated usually by the times you see this sort of thing the tree is dead. this is common on junipers as they can be dead for 6 months before showing signs of problems.
