Juniper Squamata Cascade

Post by Jarad »

Here's my first attempt at a cascade, I'm pretty happy with how it's progressing besides that long straight section on the cascading branch, but that'll be lopped off at some point. The photos are a little average, but I was in a bit of a hurry.

I don't trust Bonsai, they are a little shady.

A nice gnarly looking tree, already looks to have a good age. To me the view of the right side shows the tree to better advantage tho'.
Cheers, Frank.

Cool tree that. I am with Frank on the photo marked 'right' as being an attractive angle. I can picture this is a square pot with that cascade pouring over the edge near one of the corners. Looking forward to watching progress on this and the JPB thread you just dropped too.
Tending bonsai teaches me patience.

Agree with Both of you on the right side being the best angle.

Still a couple of years off getting in a pot I reckon, but I like the suggestion.
