Another pine project
Hola,
Well I'm off and running; not quite to the scale of R3 but I'm underway with some JBP seeds procured from an ebay AU seller
Soaked overnight, all of which sunk and I placed them on a damp tissue with propagation sand in a sammich bag and popped into the fridge for 2Wks to stratify
I've also ordered some JRP and some Trident seeds to play with plus I plan on doing a few cuttings from a Prunus so it's gonna be all go go go this Spring
Thanks again for the inspiration and knowledge share; I'll be sure to update regularly

Re: Another pine project
Hi all,
No photos just a quick update to report that I've potted 31 x JBP and 25 x JRP into domes Today; a pretty significant day in itself as it's my divorce hearing and 5 days short of a 19yr anniversary so I'm excited to see how this lot evolve over nearly two decades!
New start, new beginnings and all that jazz
Cheers
Snipz

Hey Snipz,
That’s a pretty serious update and I’m not talking about the pines! That’s a big life change and I hope all is ok, for all involved.
I know I shouldn’t joke at times like these but my wife of 24 years is somewhat concerned with my addiction to Bonsai... she has noted that I may as well be married to my plants!
Anyway - I hope all is ok and I hope too that Bonsai helps calm the mind through all this change.
Cheers,
Mark

Wow! I certainly echo MJL's sentiment ... here's hoping all turns out OK for all concerned and you can look back in a couple of decades and remember when these killer pines you've grown were just babies ... good luck with them and your new beginning.

Re: Another pine project
Thanks fellas; the deed was done back in 2017 so this is just a formality but I'm pretty chuffed with the upgrade and additions
