First go at shaping and wiring. It’s staying in the big pot for a while though to grow stronger. Please forgive the wiring, still getting the hang of it but thoughts very much welcomed!

Re: Juniper chinensis
Hey Froggy,
Welcome again to ausbonsai - from memory you joined recently.
I was going to ramble on about movement and then I was going to try to draw something on your photo and then I thought ....it might be better to link to a video. This video shows how you might like to put more movement in your trunk and branches. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1FDfwyjkrs
Oh and here's a frog that lives in our courtyard. It still pops in from time to time... viewtopic.php?f=97&t=26205&hilit=frog
You may have no interest at all but there's a link to your nickname.
Enjoy your new hobby...

Awesome! Thanks for the link
I love critters in general lol I have quite a few frogs around my pots, all manner of insects and spiders, birds and a resident family of brush tail possums. Your little frog is a proper chubber
obviously very happy! We tend to get striped marsh frogs here and when it rains, they are everywhere.

Hurry up and slow down!
