Thought I'd post for my own records as well as any feedback or thoughts. Have two alternatives in mind for a new apex if this one doesn't work out and also to address the taperless trunk. Hoping in time the little branches down low will thicken the trunk a bit too and will be removed way down the track. Considering I don't feel like I know exactly what I'm doing, I think it will slowly move in the right direction.
