Hi Mojo,

I can understand the confusion as there's lot's of BOON'S out there along time ago there was a man called Daniel Boon he was the man with a raccoon skin cap but he was a hunter not a bonsai man Then there was as you say a man called David Boon & yes he did drink a large amount of VB flying from here 2 there & also on the way, but he played cricket 4 Australia, & then there is another man called BOON & yes this BOON is the bonsai man Hope there is less confusion after you read this

Hi Ryceman3 , mate i does look good , even better in the flesh , 4 lower branches could be removed and jinned to expose the full movement of the lower trunk . Now this tree along with many here has 2 fronts as far as I'm concerned , 1 to suit me and the other to suit those back to front right handed people . Hence no rules here regarding front , back , left, right , rear . Some prefer 1 front over the other so i design them to be multi fronted but always have a preferred front from my perspective which is usually the left handed creative version .

Hi Pearcy001 , it's been in a big pot developing , now it is in a smaller pot to slow it down while building finer ramification , hence the reason its just been trimmed now rather than later . Candles are beginning to elongate so I snap them early to increase back budding and waste none of the extending growth in the meantime . Not recommended by most Eddies , do I listen , No , but It works for me here .

It wont get wired as from memory last time it took a day to do the last detailed job , it would take 4 times longer now so it can grow on regardless .

Hi Steve , Rustica Plus on everything here natives , flowering , fruiting , pines , junipers , deciduous and evergreens , ground growing or potted and bagged .

This is possibly the highest NPK available in Aus . The European analysis is a different scale to what we have here in Aus according to the supplier here in town .
It doesn't produce leggy growth even in grow beds , most trees grow leggy if you don't trim or maintain them . them
'Its a slow release fert 3-6 months , I fert end of Winter and and again at start of summer around 40 kgs of fert is applied to everything , with seasol powerfeed at least once a month . Rustica is available at most rural supply companies , it is strong and will burn if over used .
