Re: for all you helmet haters
But how do you think all the ''helmets'' are started?
It just another green dome in the making.

“You don’t want to create a helmet” > proceeds to discuss rounding the top

Re: for all you helmet haters
Hmmm...
I don't consider myself a helmet hater ...but there comes time when a bonsai looks almost weirdly perfect. What's a bonsai equivalent of an Uncanny Valley? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uncanny_valley. Perhaps it is not the right term for this discussion but it is the best I can think of in my lunch break.
Having found this video of my own accord recently, I found it helpful and the little tree looks good ...
What it turns into in future ...who knows but as a little tree to have on a beginners bench or for that matter my bench ... I'd enjoy trying to care for it. Some years into the future - or more likely by design choices early, I'd hope that I choose forks in the road (or branches
) the avoided a trip to the Uncanny Valley
