Apparently there's a massive shortage of Juniper workshop material here in Qld. Anyone know of someone with stock?
It seems that the bonsai nurseries have all been cleaned out during lockdown, and the growers around here have not been starting much new stuff...?

Re: Juniper workshop material
Australia wide it seems. The landscapers/others have been busy on their gardens, probably substituting junipers for other conifers that have become unavailable. We have only been able to source a few smaller trees this year for the society.melbrackstone wrote: ↑September 29th, 2020, 7:10 am Apparently there's a massive shortage of Juniper workshop material here in Qld. Not cheap!??? Compared to prices for similar stock in Sydney it's worth driving to Qld even worth tolerating Qlders for.Redsonic wrote: ↑September 29th, 2020, 11:45 am There is a guy selling aged Juniper Squamata on Gumtree:

Re: Juniper workshop material
Thanks Sonya, I've passed on the link! $299 is a reasonable price for good large stock. I'm sure there'll be a few people chasing them now!
Hopefully more people will start growing them again Terryb!
