I knew that was the Tooheys euc! I like it just as much now, I don’t think the Jin removal has lessened the impact. I’m not usually a big fan of the eucs (that’s my issue, not theirs) but love the movement in this and the foliage scale works a treat. Cracker.

I love the Lepto in the 42 mice pot ... nearly as much as I like the dogs! I’m telling ya between R3’s cat and your dogs and everyone’s bonsai .... clearly pets and bonsai make life better! That’s what Hadley thinks anyway!

Sno i really love that gum tree, The colour in the trunk is really cool. Your small hands make that trunk look so big

Damn fine trunk, and better without the jinn, for me. The colours in the bark and the foliage are just wonderful. I'll be interested to see how you resolve the branching - it can't be "bonsai" flat branches, but what it can be is yet to be found... It will be a great tree one day.

I don’t know how it happened but the main two branches ended up being a bit slingshoty .it’s not going to be as radical as one your chops but I’m hoping after I ‘trim ‘ it will present buds to rectify this . The trunk still needs to thicken to transition .

How time flys . Things happened and the weather has been kind . Maybe a bit to kind , no frosts heaps of rain then heaps of sunshine . It’s a jungle out there .
So school is out for summer . As usual it’s been a mixed bag of good and bad in this years class.
I know everyone has been waiting the outcome of the plum dig , well they have all survived . I did the garbage bag method ,I don’t really know if it made any difference , they all survived so it didn’t do any harm .

The Crabapple after being such a model student has let it self go has become a bit of a hippie .

Great to hear all the plums made it Sno. I believe that the tree will survive regardless of using the black bag technique but what it offers is just a little bit more humidity to allow more buds/shoots to form aiding in the recovery time of the tree.

I am sooooo pleased that the plums are doing well and appreciate that you have taken the trouble to let us know the progress.
I've decided to declare myself the President of the Plum Club (no democracy here) and if you keep going like this you could well be on the executive.

It was a bit of pain opening the bags each day to mist but I am not unhappy with the results .
