Mmmm ... no huge amounts of nitro, but yes I definitely fertilise and casually coax the in-laws to keep an eye on them if I think it's warranted, but once they established themselves in the ground ... just let them do their thing.

In short… yes, I do want to rip it off and have a look! But I figure I got this far… lucky I have plenty of other stuff to play with while I wait. I think of JBPs as slow, but looking at this and your field grown trees they actually move along at a good clip. Nice one.
