Here are the white cuttings, all progeny from the plant at the front with a lone flower still hanging on

There was a question about the yellowing around the edges - I think it’s called mosaic disease.

This clump has had a rough summer, it got really dry even in what i considered to be an amply deep pot and as such really didn't push any growth to speak of and i actually lost 2 trunks. Bummer. One more looks like it could be on the way out as well.

I've pulled it out and put it into this deep plastic pot and i've opened up the root ball a bit too during the potting. It's already started looking better and pushed out some extensions at long last (2nd photo)

I thought same but I'm not so sure anymore. I believe the virus may very well affect the health of this particular clone. It seems to have problems with vigor after a few years and starts losing whole branches. I am not going to propagate it anymore. I have however crossed it with both Ch. japonica and the white ''chojubai.'' These are all very healthy, virus free and willing to grow - so far....
