Progression thread : Agonis parviceps (Taxandria parviceps)

This species is gorgeous. It will start to droop to let you know it needs a watering if its getting low on water.
It seems to prefer a well draining medium.
It tolerates heavy root reduction and heavy pruning.
I had another, but I forgot to water it and it got bone dry.... it didn't recover.

Cool to see someone else trying out Taxandria. I have a couple of Taxandria Juniperinas. They do the same thing when they need water. Boy do they like to drink though they are super thirsty. Understandably as the Juniperina grows in the swamps here. I think they have good potential though.

Yeah, I actually use it as my guide for how hot the day has been. This is always the very first tree to wilt after a hot day.
Its a very thirsty tree I agree. And you can tell how hot it was by how much droop there is in the end. But they always spring right back in about an hour after a good soak.
Awesome species to work with.
