Re: Yahoo Japan Auctions
Haven't used that website - I note it is only in japanese... but recently I purchased (won the auction) for an antique temple bell for my Japanese garden from the following website
http://www.japanauctioncenter.com/index.php
It does translate the page reasonably well (google translation) however it has an unusual way of operating.
To bid you need to deposit your bid amount into "your account" - using paypal. If you are unsuccessful they reimburse this. If you win then the charges begin.
880Y$ for admin, payment of XY$ for postage from the seller to the auction centre, then XY$ for posting it internationally. It did arrive - quite quickly but the cost was almost double the bid price!
