Why the concern? It has been ok in previous years, has something changed over recent times to give you reason to think it may not?melbrackstone wrote: ↑July 31st, 2022, 6:46 pm 0MG-0208.jpg
Repotted this week, fingers crossed it buds out.

I worry every year after repotting it. I guess I'm just one of those people who doesn't trust themselves yet.

Re: Large Crepe Myrtle
That's ok then, I decided to try Crepe Myrtle after seeing yours a couple of years ago and recently root pruned mine. So you put a scare in me, I did the same last year and it survivedmelbrackstone wrote: ↑July 31st, 2022, 9:14 pm I worry every year after repotting it. Re: Large Crepe Myrtle
It's one of the last of my deciduous to bud, so it keeps me on my toes.
Good luck with yours. The other CM I posted tonight has had a "shibui-style" root pruning, so that one is the one I really should be worried about!

Re: Large Crepe Myrtle
Great progression . That new trunk line is developing really well . Once it matches that great base
. And going on how quick it’s developing that won’t be long .
