all good people, i think this contest and discussion thread wasnt just sorted by one or two people. the collaboration of the group has made this happen and i think it is gonna be a huge success.

i should be the one apologizing to brett, we both had the same thoughts bout getting each other to do it i just go in first but in all honesty without bretts organisation, the very kind sponsorships of the judges and prize donations, it wouldnt of happened,
and to steven for approving it.
i think we will all learn something from young and old alike. i couldnt be more pleased than to be part of the organisation of the input etc aswell.

a big thank you to all who organised it, and to everyone who put their hands up for the interest in it. without the interest in the contest or the discussion it will invoke, it would not of happened.

I'd like to submit a couple of images here of plants that I'm considering for the literati competition.

The first is for the New Stock section - an elm that I dug up this week.

Would these plants be acceptable for entry into the Literati Bunjingi Competition?

They will need plenty of work. You now have to put them in for submission before the 30th of November. In the contest thread.

Thanks, Pup. I hope to learn a lot through the course of the competition and see an improvement in all three by the end. I'll organise my photos and get on with the submissions.

Thanks, Brett. I thought that the trunks of both made them worth trying to make someting of them over time.
