I picked up this Ficus Virens yesterday and repotted out of an orchid pot, photos go bottom to top.
I did some work removing the smaller bar branch as I didn’t like that arms out look. I used a grafting technique to place a secondary branch on the right. Drilled a hole about 2cm deep slightly bigger than the diameter of a sml branch I took off. Removed some bark to expose cambium, inserted the branch so cambium lines up and covered perimeter with cut past.
I got this idea from Wigerts bonsai on instagram.
Be interesting to see what happens but if it doesn’t work no harm done. I’ll post an update in a couple months.

Was this the one out near Minchinbury on Fb marketplace? I was quite interested in that tree but the location was a bit out of my range.
