I picked this Callistemon up a few months ago. Cherry bomb, It’s supposed to be a dwarf cultivar.
Got nice little leaves that were red when new and turn a nice lime green and finally settle to a dark green.
Been giving it power feed since end of winter along with the rest of my Collection.
It been growing strong and I potted it into a bonsai pot today.
I took a lrg branch/trunk off a few weeks ago but no pruning otherwise.
Minimal wiring just to fan out a bit to let light in and set a couple of primary branches.
I’m starting to enjoy the natives a lot more now. I’ll see how this progresses.

Re: Callistemon Cherry bomb
Did some thinning out a few weeks ago. Last couple of weeks it’s starting pushing new growth with the red tips.
