Re: Curling leaves on a Bougainvillea
Hi I haven’t been on here for quite a while I just noticed your post about curly leaves on your Bougainville
I have a similar issue just wondering if you found out what
maybe causing this.
My plant is around 1.5 meters and it was lifted and transplanted after which the problem started so I may assume that it could be stress related

hey It loks like your Bougainvillea might be dealing with fungal disease or pests that arent afecting the tres health but could cause those symptoms.check the leaves for aphids or mold.

Re: Curling leaves on a Bougainvillea
I can't say for sure, but looking at the leaves, they look healthy but a bit yellowish, it could be due to too much sunlight and or root problems which results in the tree trying to conserve moisture and by curling, it's exposing its underside which I think have less holes through which water escapes. I would try moving it to a less light area which is warmer. And Aldo check the state of roots by moving the medium in one small area.

That happens to one of mine every year. I just cut them off when I'm in the mood, or leave them to fall off.
