Hi,
4 weeks ago, i recieved a wrightia religiosa from indonesia (i live in switzerland - no way to find something like this here).
The roots and branches and leaves were pruned. I potted it in 75 % academia 25% normal garden soil and watered it.
The tree made some roots and very tiny dark sprouts. But nothing more… at the beginning it was 22 c, since 1 week i have a heating
And its now 25 c. Should be enough in my opinion. Lightning is a 250w led but runs at really low level. The first two weeks, the tree was not under the led.
What can i do to wake it up?
Thanks for replies!
Martin

Re: Waking up wrightia religiosa
I don't know anything more that will stimulate Ficus to start growing. Water, heat and light are really the factors and you have given that already.
I suggest patience and

The change from Indonesia to Switzerland could be confusing it, especially as you're currently heading into Winter. Be careful to not overwater it and hopefully it'll recover. Sometimes they can take awhile to settle in, so you don't want to rot the roots with too much water when it's not yet growing.

Thank you for your input!
Yes i will take care of that.
I putted a tent over it and increased humidity to 70%.

Re: Waking up wrightia religiosa
Good news….
I have a little microscope and can see now that the sprouts are opening.
I switched off the light 1 week ago. Even on lowest level it was too strong for the tiny sprouts
And burnt them. The tree made new ones and now it looks very good!
