Been letting developing stock grow out over summer.
Started doing some styling this last week on a few.
I like how the little juniper is shaping up.
I was debating whether to cut off the low sacrifice. I decided to keep it and wire it. I’m glad I did because I think without without the cascading branch, this would just be another generic triangle in a pot.

Re: Juniper styling
Definitely not a generic triangle with that twisted trunk, even without the cascading branch.
Without the cascade branch it appears that right and left branches are at the same level. they appear as bar branches even though one is way up the trunk from the right branch. You may be able to alter that appearance by tilting the trunk even further to the right. That would raise the left side branch and lower the right side branch to make them appear on different levels. Would also make the trunk flow a bit more to the right = more dynamic and interesting than the current 'balanced' appearance. Such a change may require some changes to the apex but I haven't considered that yet.
Another option I'm considering is to remove the current 2nd right branch and keep the cascade branch. That will also alleviate the bar branch appearance and open up some space on the right side.
Just my 2c worth and without real in-depth consideration so happy if those ideas don't appeal.

Re: Juniper styling
Thanks for that. I like the idea of alternating the angle.
I always prefer to leave as many branches on as I can especially with small bonsai.
