Agreed! Long live the moss.

I like the subtle differences you've created with the wiring wiring of some of those lower branches.

Chop back for this tree today.
Getting stuck into a few natives in preparation for repotting in 4-6 weeks or so.
I think this one is now ready for a change into something new then, I'll see what I can find.

Repot as promised was today.
Moved it from one Marie Hewartson pot to another ... I think this one gives it a bit more room to breathe.

Absolutely amazing tree, a full credit to the art. I think it would look amazing with less green moss on the main trunk to compliment the colour of that pot.

Well ... that pot didn't last long. The tree took an excursion off the bench and that was the end of that.
Hopefully this one can remain intact for a bit longer! :fc:

Good to see the tree survived the fall with no obvious damage. A pot change is a lot easier than regrowing major structural branches.

A few branches lost but I’ll adapt. I’ve left the green on the most part to help recovery… my thoughts right now are to look to prune back pretty hard once I see recovery and reset the branching. Bonsai is dynamic!
