Hi guys,
Can I get a species ID on this shrub that’s growing here in the pilbera.
I’m considering air layering it?

The seeds and leaves look Acacia-ish, certainly - you might find propagating easier from seed. From what I've heard, they don't grow well from cuttings, so layering might also be touchy. Please let us know how you get on.
I tried Googling "Acacias of the Pilbara region" and got this:
https://worldwidewattle.com/infogallery ... ?project=1
- there seem to be (conservatively) about 60million of them... Good luck. Some photos of how they grow as they age would be useful. I've also grown NSW version of Acacia aneura (mulga) - there seem to be a number of Pilbara varieties that could be interesting.
Good luck!
Gavin
