[FOR SALE] Pots direct from Japan
Hey guys,
Had a few pots arrive from Japan yesterday that I'm going to put up for sale. Prices may be a bit higher than the ones you get from the local nursery/bunnings or wherever, but they are all quality pots from Japan =). I may be a little negotiable on some items.
Phone in pics for size comparison
Tiny little mini pots - Seems to be quite hard to find this size locally.
$20 each or set of 5 for $80
Cream flower shape 5.3cmDiametre x 2.5cmH
Cream square 5.3cmL x 5.3cmW x 4.6cmH Blue rectangle 6.4cmL x 4.7cmW x 2.8cmH
Blue oval 7.3cmL x 6.3W x 2.4H Green mini 6.8cmL x 5.5cmW x 2.8cmH Shohin or Mame size?
$20ea or all five for $90
Yellow oval 12cmL x 9cmW x 4.5H Blue rectangle 10.8cmL x 8cmW x 5cmH Olive rectangle 12.5cmL x 9.5cmW x 7.4cmH Green rectangle 12.8cmL x 9.6cmW x 5cmH Red flower(?) 11.4cm x 11.4cm x 5cmH Small Cascade pot from Midori kiln. Very detailed, beautiful artwork
$120
8.3cmDiametre x 7.8cmH Unglazed Shohin sized pot. Also from Midori kiln. This size isn't common
$55
15.5cmL x 11.2cmW x 6.2cmH And last, but certainly not least. This beautiful, old, yellow glazed round shohin pot. It si from Tokoname and it is old.
Has beautifully detailed feet. The glaze as a few marks on it, ect, but it's not chipped or cracked. Would be perfect for an old tree that needs an old pot to add to it's character and compliment it's age and story.
$150 Please note
These prices DO NOT include postage/shipping. This will depend on location of buyer.
Please contact me by PM or SMS on my mobile phone before 6pm, or feel free to call after 6pm

Re: Pots direct from Japan
Hey dude, you'd probably get a shohin juni in it well, but maybe stretching to the upper side of shohin.
I'm looking at bring in a few tokoname fired unglazed ones of similar dimensions =)

Re: Pots direct from Japan
Jamie here is my twin trunk shimpaku juniper. Excuse the bad photo im doing 3 things at once here . ill get around to a better one later. My pot dimension is very simular to the one your looking at ( within 10mm). Ill take exact measurements of pot and tree later. This shimp got a heavy prune months ago and is reverting back to mature foiage again. I will pinch in the coming weeks. It wasnet repotted to long ago. Hope this helps with your pot choiceNathanM wrote:Hey dude, you'd probably get a shohin juni in it well, but maybe stretching to the upper side of shohin.

Re: Pots direct from Japan
Thanks, noah. I think it's a nice pot too =P If it doesn't sell I'll be more than happy to keep it and put a nice pine or juni in it =P
I've actually got a JBP which will look nice in it in a couple of years, and some shimpaku coming soon (thanks to Jamie ^_^) that will look good in it in a few years too!
