this book, by morten albek, is certainly an inspirational read.
i read it cover to cover in just over a day.
what i loved most about this guy is his outlook on the art of bonsai, and how we as artists display it.
if your collection is getting too BIG, give this book a read and i bet your trees become shorter

this guy also teaches some simple methods for some not so simple tasks, one that stuck in particular was re direction of energy in pines.

I argee with Aaron on this one. If you aspire to produce good shohin and smaller trees. It also teaches the correct way to display them in the formal setting. Which when being judged as it is the overall setting that is. I must admit though the picture on the cover could be better. There are quite a few of our American cousins who will disagree. I think there is an element of OH!1sh#t beaten to the publishers. It is a as Aaron said a good read. Pup

I agree, Aaron. I don't collect bonsai books generally because I think far too many have photos of poor trees but this book is an exception. The bloke is good, there are no two ways about it.
