Hope you didnt kill it!
I tend to think it is a world record lady beetle larvae. They tend to look like their prey so they can get close to the mealy bugs and the aphids for a feed. Nice find!

Having seen quite a few mealybugs is vineyards in my time, that certainly is a MASSIVE specimen! 

I really do wish they'd hurry up and grow.
