Re: Stands
Soltan Ray used to have some at the nursery. The ones I have I found at Chinese furniture shops and Japanese stores also one of the nursery here has some nice one at reasonable prices. Have a look at Lees Bonsai he has one very nice one for about $55--00 to 60--00 Teak 550mm long 340mms wide by 140 high. he also has some in the higher range. You can always make them it is not hard for a handy man. If you go into the Bonsai Society of WA they will give you the link I have not worked that out yet.soltan wrote:wow great stands Jon any hints on the best place to purchase?

Re: Stands
I found this little shop in Greenslopes (Brisbane) which specialised in Japanese tea pots (no bonsai) and they had a huge selection of stands which I thought were reasonable. $20 to $70.Jon any hints on the best place to purchase?

Re: Stands
I love the interlocking stands.... living in a small cottage with minimal storage, stands with legs are a BIG space waster. That is just so great. Some of the others are also excellent but I am taken by the classy storage saver.

Re: Stands
Peter, If you know the Pub on the corner of Logan Road and Old Cleveland Road, there is a laneway at the back of it coming off the Old Cleveland road side. The shop is second in from the corner.
