as stated on hugh's potting thread; i decided to leave this tree to grow and balance its energy. this i achieved by slightly thinning the apex and in turn sending the energy down. now the tree needs more thinning but i will wait for autumn to do that and then rack it up and tie it down in winter! future dead wood is still growing. with all my younger trees, i grow branches 1st to sacrafice then 2nd to have something substantial to carve. carving on trees like this is the last thing for me (ya hear me jimmy) :D 8-)

Doing some great work with the juniper Antonio. I gotta do these more they grow so well here.
It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.

Holy crow, i missed this one Ant and it is going to be a stunner. I would imagine the deadwood on the right hand branch will come off :lost: It doesnt need to be there and to large for a jin :?: Great stuff.
