Ant we are trying to help you.
I have said its got great movement, its good good potential, but like others, I believe you will have issues if you let the bar branches go.
If the tree was an old yamidori, then leave the bar branches. by that point it has stopped its vigorous growth, and the rest of the trunk would have 9in most cases) caught up to the swelling and evened out. You don't have that time. This is why you remove bar branches on younger material, and why most European artists leave them on old mountain stock.
here you go again side kick. i didn't ask for help!!! i am enjoying my issues. the problem with my tree is you and pup!!! now please go get a life else where.
life must be hard for you with the BT chat room shut down.
i have no desire to stir anything back up again but this needs to be said. the problem is not when someone comments or passes an opinion, although it wasn't invited, for my agenda with this tree is quite clear to me. i still respect everybody's feed back posative and negative. however a problem does arise when someone does not realise that i do not need to agree and therefor need to back off. then when you bite back you are insulted and labeled. as far as im concerned that is not on and you can count on it that i will retaliate. having said that im not proud of where things went, nor do i accept all the fault. there is no right or wrong in an individual believing in their journey as long as they're not forcing it upon another. so there is no reason why we cant co exist on this forum. to lose any member is a loss for us all. im not sure wether this is appropriate but after reading a recent post i needed to get it off my chest.
