Swamp Cypress Informal.

Post by anttal63 »

My earlier trees tend to become good practice for the more expensive one's i'm aquiring these days. and so did this one tonight. Got it back in 2007 and grew on. I think it will go in the ground at some stage in order to correct the taper. :D ;)

Looking good. Once you get a new leader the taper will improve.

in a post by bretts someone shows a slicing technique that allows the tree to scar and swell to creat taper and flare in the trunk, it could be exactly what you want especially if you are gonna chuck this one in the ground for a while. it will do it a massive favour on getting the muscle and flare in the ground, the vertical slicing would help get it there quicker one would think :)

jamie :D

jamie :D

The Muscle and flare im talking about jamie is the natural connections from the roots to the trunk. I dont think it will need anything other than ground growing. :D 8-)
