a Little Fat olive

Post by Chris Di Nola »

Hi everyone

Had a little time on my hands today so i thought I would style this little guy.
I tried to sell it on Ebay some time ago, starting price was $80.00 but no takers, lucky me.

I would like your thoughts, good or bad, but be gentle.
Before, as it was on ebay.JPG

I dont need to buy olives... I just go talk to the orange growers around these parts or cruise the back water streets in the Adelaide hills.

Looks like some carving will be needed to get the appearance of taper I thinks.

gday skip :D

i have an olive of very similar stature to this one of yours, any chance we could get an updated pic? i never thought of pushing the new leader so low down, it still provides enough room for decent taper and ramification?

would love to see it now anyways :D

I disagree on the carving suggestion. To my taste this tree has enough movement and taper to beautifully carry the foliage once it has a bit more development. An updated pic would be very nice as it is a stunning tree.
