[FOR SALE] Sumo Shohin Port Jackson Fig
Hi Folks, I am selling off a few of my trees to hopefully fund a new greenhouse.
First up is a Port Jackson Fig - Ficus rubiginosa
15cm tall above the pot
7cm diameter trunk base
Grown from a pencil thick cutting in 2003, the tree has spent the majority of it's life in a seed tray. Repotted into the current pot in October 2009. Defoliated in Feb 2010. The tree has excellent movement and even taper, the trunk has been chopped twice, as you can see in the 2nd picture the primary chop has completely healed.
PM me with any reasonable offers, the tree will be sent using registered post and be insured up to the price paid, noah78 has bought trees from me in the past and can testify to the quality of my packaging for interstate shipment.
Cheers

Re: For Sale: Sumo Shohin Port Jackson Fig
Ken, thanks for your compliments, that is sound advice that you offer regarding price.
Jamie has raised his offer to $125 and mentioned that his wife is pretty handy with a sharp blade
...I've since made a mental note and have decided not to piss her off anytime soon
Phantom, still not receiving your messages for some reason, you can just post your offer here if you like.
Cheers

Just a quick note, this tree is on the market at a leading bid of $150 and will be selling to whoever is leading tonight at 9pm Melbourne time. PM or add to this thread with any further offers before then and please remember to allow $15-25 above your bid for postage, depending on where you live.
