Re: For Sale: Sumo Shohin Port Jackson Fig
well its a bonsai forum and the auction has happened here before it is a great way for the seller to get a true market value for his tree it has had a lot of great work done to it and deserves to go to the person that wants it the most
if theres a problem with the admin please let us know im sure no one would intentionaly do the wrong thing
my low bid was just an example and to get the ball rolling dont think i thought it was only worth $45 still good buying at $150 but i have just bought 3 large willow leafs so theres my budget gone for a couple of weeks

Re: For Sale: Sumo Shohin Port Jackson Fig
It is a for sale forum. The seller is the one who dictates how they wish to sell the item. What is not excepted is critique on the items being sold, in the open forum.
If you wish to make a remark that is fine but no critique's.
A PM might be they way to go on that one.
Cheers

Good idea to overpot it to speed the process phantom, just watch out it doesnt thicken too much in the crown, I have had this happen to a few trees when i thought i would just speed the process up a bit. Result was an extra couple of years work to rebuild, having had to cut off all the oversized growth.

that will be fine phantom, it will direct energy to the lower branching and will help fatten them up and build ramification.
and i reckon if things go right 2 growing seasons and you will have a great ramified tree.
get ficus bonsai in the temperate climate by leong from bonsai south, you will se why i think you will have good ramification inside two growing seasons.
or you could send it up here and it will be done in a year
