years. i followed vance woods advice on repotting mugos middle of dec to end of jan. but decided to split it with walter palls advice not to cut anything off or style. where as vance says he does all of the above and his trees just kick butt. in any case my mugos are kicking butt with a much richer green now than you see in the photos. next years buds are a beautiful hazelnut colour and swelling. these are all great signs. oh by the way did i forget to mention; the roots got naked
