heres a Japanese black pine i got in dec ive done some thining and removed some bad braches that would create taper isues what do you guys think any tips or virts lets tear it apart

Figs, celtis, clero, olive, juni, swampy, elm and bougs no worries JBP seem to scare me a little.... a lot of how and when to prune ......
I only have ever had two ....... one years ago that died and just invested in another I need to get into pine frame of mind :lol:

Dayne & Shannon they are not scary at all once taken through the years maintenance on your own tree.
Dayne i find your photos to small and cant get in see what i need. Again i suggest 640 by 480 size. Then i'd be happy get into detail with you. :D

Hi Dayne.
If you are happy with the trunk size, then you can start your work with the branch palcement and shaping. otherwise just feed and let it go made and grow on.

Check oiut this thread with info on growing JBP in Sydney, which will help develop the tree.

heres some resized pics but they lost some quality when resizing any one have any ideas im thinking a little shohin like the photos of jamies love to see some pine gurus fill me in noah or others im lost :? :?

i would do a virt and that mate but i got no idea at the moment with JBP so i dont want to put something up that isnt possible.
