I didn't realise you were even claiming ownership of this technique. This technique has been mentioned many times on the forum, and I know that Dennis has not received credit for it. Im not saying you don't deserve credit either (if you thought of it yourself.....well done!), I just assumed you had already learnt about this from the internet previously, being one of the more frequent posters.

The best thing is that this technique is getting used and spread amongst the bonsai community. Our Aussie native bonsai have the chance to really catch up to the world standard if techniques are actively used and spread. It will be nice to see how the tree turns out.

Well said Joel

I did not realise a question would course such commotion :?

All good joel; im not claiming nor do i need credit. Give that to the boy who seeks all the attention, he obviously needs it.Anyone with half a brain will think of this sooner or later. No rocket science just sound logic. Thanks joel. :D :D

Hey dayne, thanks mate; especially banksia! As Grant has stated, is a very hungry and thirsty beast!!! As for the Koreshoffs... Im not a follower, i have never read the books but have read stuff around the forums. I'm sure there is a lot of vaid stuff there, but that theory there is definately tired and out dated, just another myth that was once started about Australian Natives. With all due respect much has changed in the world of Bonsai. :D ;) 8-)

Hey antonio, Great work with your natives. Am always keen to see what you are doing, its nice that some are out there actually thinking about things & finding ways to deal with whatever they want to do.

I had not read of dennis's techniques or antonio's or anyone elses, bit hard when i had nothing to do with any other bonsaiists until quite recently, yet i also managed to work out a similar technique with my natives that has improved my successes when transplanting & in general everyday life with them... I dont claim them as my own & i didnt see anywhere in this post or any other than Antonio claimed it as his own. Your interpretation of things is just that... YOURS

As Antonio stated, anyone who actually thinks logically about the problem will come to the same conclusions...
