here are a few more pots i have decided to sell, i am not sure of the makers except the one which is marked 'japan' which im almost positive is mizutani.. they are all really nice old quality pots with really interesting glazes! will consider offers!

JayP I know we should not give critiques, this is more information. The last pot you quoted as being Japanese is actually Korean I have a number of them
I have one identical to yours. they cost me $ 6-50 each from a local nursery.

thought i should remove these from sale unless i can get some idea of the origins and makers of the pots, i have checked all tokoname references etc that i know of and they don't seem to be listed! any help with identification would be appreciated! cheers

actually bought it on a certain auction site a few years ago from the states, i paid around $40 and about $20 postage. it was labeled 'old rare bonsai pot' or something along those lines i seen the chop and thought the characters looked more japanese than chinese lol! well looks like i should have done my homework! up until the other day i had always maintained to friends etc that i have never made a bad purchase on ebay lol!! ps tried to put the red face emoticon up here but it wouldn't work haJamie wrote:that might be a good idea mate, atleast untill you find out where they are from.
